01Our standard

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across this site. That means meaningful contrast, keyboard operation for every control, visible focus states, semantic markup, and no interface that depends on a single sense or a single input device.

02What we have implemented

Every form field has a visible label, and validation errors are associated with their field and announced rather than shown by colour alone. Modals trap focus, close with Escape, and return focus to the element that opened them. The image gallery supports arrow-key navigation in its full-screen view.

Navigation is reachable by keyboard throughout, with a skip link to main content. Interactive states — hover, focus, active, disabled — are all visibly distinct. Vehicle imagery carries descriptive alternative text written for the specific photograph, not a filename.

Motion respects the prefers-reduced-motion setting: the intro sequence is skipped, parallax is disabled, and reveal animations are removed for visitors who have asked for that. No content on this site depends on animation to be understood.

Colour contrast is maintained between body text and its background in both the dark and light sections, and the motorsport red accent is never the sole indicator of state.

03Responsive and assistive technology

Layouts are tested from 375px to 1920px and above. Content reflows without horizontal scrolling at any common viewport, text remains readable without zooming, and the mobile filter controls open in a full-screen drawer rather than a cramped popover.

The site is built with semantic HTML and landmark regions, so screen readers can navigate by heading, region and list. Where ARIA is used, it supplements native semantics rather than replacing them.

04Known limitations

The comparison table scrolls horizontally on narrow viewports with a sticky first column; we are evaluating whether a stacked card layout serves small screens better. The map on our contact page is a stylised illustration rather than an interactive map widget, with the full address given in text beside it.

Images in this demonstration are generated illustrations of fictional vehicles and team members. Fine equipment details in the illustrations may differ from the written listings. A production dealership would use photographs of each actual vehicle.

05Feedback channel

The dealership email and phone number shown elsewhere on this site are fictional and are not support channels. If this portfolio project is presented through another site, use that site's contact channel to report an accessibility issue.

06Demonstration notice

This site is a portfolio demonstration. No vehicle purchases, appointments or contact requests are processed by a real business.
